Managing a Multigenerational Workforce

Never before has there been such a diversity of generations in the workforce. Four distinct, age-based groups coexist in the workplace. Each has different values, attitudes, expectations, needs, and motivations, all of which can make it challenging to manage and integrate into a corporate culture.

To successfully build a high performance team and integrate the various generations, organizations must create a variety of learning and development experiences that engage and empower individuals to achieve shared business objectives.

The first step is understanding generational differences. In this half day workshop, participants will:

  • Explore what the 4 distinct generations are, and what makes them tick

  • Examine barriers to successfully leading the various generations

  • Discuss what type of environment/leadership style encourages productivity and growth

  • Develop strategies for supporting and managing each generation
